Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy has presented a special COVID-19 medical insurance for tourists. It costs from EUR 13 to EUR 23, Hromadske reports.
The policy will become effective from July 1 and will cover from EUR 2,000 up to EUR 7,000 costs of treatment; it could be acquired online.
According to Mr Ersoy, the special insurance was introduced because not all standard travel policies cover the cost of COVID-19 treatment.
Turkey is ready to accept Ukrainian tourists, starting July 1 of this year, without mandatory self-isolation and COVOD-19 testing.
