Turkish Airlines has announced that it has temporarily canceled all passenger flights to Italy from March 1 due to the coronavirus outbreak, Simple Flying reports.
The decision was made in accordance with the directive of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which recommends travelers to avoid trips to Italy.
“As the airline that always puts the travel security at the forefront, Turkish Airlines will continue to monitor the latest developments on the situation with the national and international health authorities and take appropriate precautions,” Turkish Airlines explained.
The airline has already canceled all flights to China and Iran, two of the places most affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
NSDC: Ukraine is unlikely to avoid isolated cases of coronavirus.
