Volodymyr Groysman must continue to fulfill his duties as prime minister, unless Verkhovna Rada releases him from office at an extraordinary meeting.
This was stated by the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko.
According to Tymoshenko, the various statements that Groysman allegedly wrote a statement and the president can be dismissed by his decree and he can simply leave his post after writing the statement have no legal justification.
As the leader of the faction noted, Groysman can be dismissed from the post of prime minister only by a decision of Verkhovna Rada.
According to the leader of Batkivshchyna, “if there is no such decision, he must continue to fulfill his duties.”
Tymoshenko stressed that there is no Groysman’s resignation letter in the Verkhovna Rada, UNIAN reports.
“If Verkhovna Rada does not dismiss Groysman, he should fulfill his duties,” said the parliamentarian.
As reported by the Journalist, Groysman plans to form a professional Allied team in the new parliament.
