In the underground complex, law enforcement officers seized 6.5 tons of amber

Employees of Security Service of Ukraine exposed the underground industrial complex, which processed illegally mined amber. About this reports press center of the SBU.
A native of East Asian country, now a Ukrainian citizen in a special complex arranged storage facilities, a shop with special equipment for cutting raw amber and built a mini-hostel for employees. It is noted that more than fifty workers could work simultaneously in illegal production. The person smuggled the finished goods through his connections to one of the Asian countries.
During the authorized searches, stone cutting equipment, processed stones and almost fifteen kilograms of finished amber jewelry, “black bookkeeping” and a large amount of cash were found.
Policemen seized nearly six tons of raw amber packaged in fractions and selected for cutting, as well as more than half a ton of processed stone from storage facilities.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that in Kyiv during the fire the baby was rescued.
