At least 20 thousand people took part in a torchlight procession in Riga (Latvia), in honor of Independence Day. This is reported by Delfi inform agency.
The torchlight procession, timed to coincide with the celebration of Latvian Independence Day, stretched over a kilometer and attracts about 20 thousand people to took part in it.
Note that the torchlight procession is holding since 2003 and has become a tradition.
As The Journalist reported, the American Film Academy cut the procession down the red carpet because of the fires in California.
