The United States government has introduced new comprehensive sanctions against Iran, targeting officials and organizations involved in the development of nuclear missile production in the country, as well as the proliferation of conventional weapons. This was reported in the press center of the U.S. Treasury Department.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Treasury Department has imposed sanctions against three deputy directors of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, as well as several of its subsidiaries.
Additional restrictions were imposed on suppliers of equipment for the production of ballistic missiles in Iran under the leadership of the Iranian Aerospace Industry Organization.
The sanctions restrictions also apply to officials involved in Iran’s missile programs.
