U.S. military will receive hypersonic weapons

The Pentagon expects to armed the U.S. ground forces with hypersonic weapons by 2023. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper.

“In March, the U.S. Army and Navy successfully tested a hypersonic glide body. We will provide the ground forces with this technology by 2023,” the message reads.

The minister also announced an increase in investment in hypersonic systems over the next five years to speed up testing.
