The United States has announced the imposition of sanctions against international companies in three countries over financial transactions with Iran, which provided financial income for the regime in Tehran through the sale and purchase of petroleum products. This was stated in the official statement of the American department.
“The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions against eight companies for their participation in the sale and purchase of Iranian petrochemical products through [Iranian – ed.] Triliance Petrochemical Co. Ltd,” the document.
At the same time, it is specified that the firms that have come under the restrictions are registered in Iran, China and Singapore.
