U.S. suspends providing financial assistance to other countries

The US Presidential administration ordered to stop providing financial assistance abroad during the check of the State Department and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Voice of America reported.

Because of such actions, foreign states lose USD 2 to USD 4 billion of financial assistance.

The areas in which work has been suspended include international health care, drug control, peacekeeping and development assistance.

The funds, which undergo verification, related to 2018/19 fiscal year. In case they will not be used by September 30, they will be returned to the federal budget.

As The Journalist reported, U.S. Senate adopted resolution in memory of Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine.
