More than 5,000 people attended the protest against transport fare rise was held in Ternopil. This is reported by Ukrinform news agency.
«In the neighboring regional centers transportation cost is about the same as in Ternopil, but transport fares there is 2-3 times lower than ours. Activists demanded from the local authorities to react to the situation with the transport fare rise for passengers.
Recall that from November 1, in Ternopil, the routebuses fare was set to UAH 9, and for trolleybuses – UAH 8.
