UAH 250 mln deal: Antonov agreed with Jeppesen on air navigation services

On April 1, SE Antonov made an EUR 9 million (UAH 275,040,000) agreement with the German company Jeppesen GmbH on the provision of flight information support services.

This is reported by the Prozorro procurement system, Nashi Groshi informs.

Services for the provision of aeronautical information were ordered for a 5-year period.

Note that Jeppesen GmbH is a subsidiary of the same name American Jeppesen and Boeing corporation.

Jeppesen provides information services for airlines and pilots.

There are two main players in the global air navigation market: Jeppesen and Lido (Lufthansa Group). The Jeppesen system, in compare to the Lido, does not allow user to draw up a flight plan to Simferopol in the Russian-annexed Crimea.

As The Journalist reported, Antonov to resume production of three aircraft in 2019.
