Ukraine and the Republic of Kazakhstan are interested in stepping up trade and economic cooperation.
According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, the Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Ihor Rainin has held a telephone conversation with the Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Asset Isekeshev, and met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Samat Ordabayev.
In particular, the parties discussed issues of enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
During the conversation was also noted the importance of holding the next meeting of the joint Interstate Ukrainian-Kazakhstan Commission on Economic Cooperation.
At the same time, the sides exchanged views on the further coordination of actions in international organizations, in particular in the United Nations and the OSCE.
«Ihor Rainin and Samat Ordabayev also discussed the need to deepen political contacts, including at the highest level,» – the report says.
