Ukraine and representatives of the European Commission agreed to start trilateral negotiations with Russia on the transit of Russian natural gas to the European Union through Ukraine.
This was reported on Twitter by PM Vladimir Groisman after meeting with the Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič.
«We have agreed to hold gas transit negotiations in the trilateral format of the EU, Ukraine, and Russia. Ukraine will take a responsible and firm stance», – the Prime Minister said.
As «The Journalist» reported, Bulgaria offered Russia to build «Bulgarian gas stream» bypassing Ukraine.
