Ukraine received the Cannes Lion for branding «Eurovision-2017»

The Ukrainian agency Banda, which is the developer of the unified brand of Ukraine Ukraine NOW, and the design studio Republique received a bronze statuette of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

The award was received in the «Design lions» category for the branding of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, the press service of the Ministry of Information Policy.

«We managed to make a really outstanding project. Ukraine has never received the «Cannes lion» for advertising and design. This award proves that the Ukrainian creativity can compete on the world level», said co-founder of the agency Pavel Vrzhesch.
The 65th annual International Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity was held on the eve, on June 19th. The jury noted visual mastery – works in which a «unique visual identity leads to recognition and understanding of the consumer».

As «The Journalist» reported in 2019 Eurovision will be held in Jerusalem.
