More than 619 thousand people have left Ukraine since March 20, 2018. Most of them are labor migrants.
As reported by ukrainianpeopleleaks.com, the number of people leaving the country increases by 2 people every minute.
According to the HR expert, this number of migrants is commensurate with the population of the regional center. The loss of labor leads to the shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian labor market.
«We know so far that there are whole factories opened, offering fairly high wages, but cannot find workers. In general, educated, relatively cheap labor in Ukraine has always been an advantage for investors. Now we are losing our main resource – workers. At such a pace, there simply will not be anyone to develop the country,» UNIAN quotes the expert as saying.
As The Journalist reported, the UN believes Ukraine’s population may decline by 18% untill 2050 due to labor migration.
