Ukraine took the third place among the exporters of poultry meat to the European Union

As the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) reported, for 5 months of 2018, Ukraine has exported 50.1 thousand tons of poultry meat to EU countries.

Thus, Ukraine took the third place in the world for the export of poultry meat to the European Union. At the same time, exports increased by 90% compared to the same period in 2017, «Pryamiy» news agency reported.

The first and second places in the list of the largest exporters of poultry meat to the EU countries took Thailand and Brazil. From the beginning of the year, this countries exported 123,000 tons and 110,000 tons respectively.

As «The Journalist» reported, the supply of Ukrainian honey abroad significantly decreased.
