This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after the talks with the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Toronto.

“There is some important news regarding the travel of Ukrainians to Canada. The first is an agreement on youth exchanges to be in the near future, which will allow Ukrainians and Canadians to come under the simplified procedure for a period of up to 1 year to study and work,” the head of state said.

According to Zelensky, “Ukraine has also received an offer from Canada to join the program on the simplified procedure regarding Ukrainians coming to Canada”, as Ukrainian News reports.

“In addition, there is an agreement in principle to expand the free trade agreement. We have agreed about the negotiations in the near future. That means that Ukrainian IT specialists and entrepreneurs of different areas will have an opportunity to better cooperate with Canada without leaving the country”, the president stressed.

As reported by The Journalist, Zelensky arrived on official visit in Canada.
