The Ministry of Health of Ukraine conduct three times more tests for coronavirus, testing from 2,500 to 3,000 people daily, the Minister of Health Maksym Stepaniv said.
“We are increasing the number of conducted tests for coronavirus. Over the past week, we have conducting 2,500-3,000 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests daily. We also test all patients with pneumonia, according to the new algorithm. All these actions are aimed at identifying as much as possible cases of the disease and taking appropriate measures,” Stepaniv said.
Previously Ukraine conducted up to 1,000 coronavirus tests per day.
