The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses protests in connection with the visit of representatives of the occupying authorities of Crimea to Belgrade.

“The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is deeply concerned about the visit of representatives of the occupation administration of Crimea to Belgrade on December 4-7, to held meetings with the deputies of the Serbian parliament and took part the conference “Belgrade dialogue: constructive relations with Russia and recognition of the will of the people of Crimea,” said in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Ukraine considers it as an unfriendly act that violates the provisions of UN General Assembly resolution 68/262 “Territorial integrity of Ukraine” dated March 27, 2014 and qualifies it as Russia attempt to legitimize the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

“On December 11, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine invited Charge d’Affairs of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine Svitlana Kosutic to express its protest,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
