Ukraine held planned tactical exercises in its western regions. The drills involved air assault forces’ units, the Ground Forces and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense on Facebook.
The exercises were held with the participation of the Air Forces combat aircraft and helicopters, as well as the engineer-combat units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces. As part of the planned activities, the military should work out troop moving, landing and various tactical actions in the mountains.
The Ministry of Defense appealed to citizens with a request not to worry and assured that recommendations regarding the spread of coronavirus were taken into account during preparation of the exercises.
