Ukraine and Iceland have agreed on a temporary “open skies” regime, which excludes any restrictions on flights and routes, UNIAN reports.

According to the document, Ukraine and Iceland aviation authorities reached an agreement on establishing a temporary “open skies” regime until agreement on air traffic to be concluded.

The agreements fixed the absence of any restrictions on the frequency of scheduled flights between Ukraine and Iceland, the number of airlines that can be assigned on routes, as well as on departure and arrival points in the territories of both countries.

As The Journalist reported, SkyUp plans to launch 30 new flights in 2020.
