Ukraine intend to create at least six industry corporations at the state concern Ukroboronprom, as the press service of Ukroboronprom informs.
At the same time, the concern will be liquidated. According to the deputy general director of the Ukroboronprom Group of Companies and the head of the Group’s Transformation Office, Roman Bondar, the Group has already created a Transformation Office and a Strategic Committee.
The Group is developing industry strategies.
In order to reform the corporate governance system of state-owned defense enterprises, were developed draft laws “On the Peculiarities of Management of State-Owned Objects in the Military-Industrial Complex” and “On the Corporatization of Defense Industrial Complex Enterprises”.
According to Bondar, without these laws, the period for creating corporations will last about 2.5 years. The adoption of laws will help to cope in 6-9 months.
