Deputy Minister of Health Yaroslav Kucher has said that the Ministry of Health is working on the introduction of digital tools to counter the spread of coronavirus infection, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
According to Yaroslav Kucher, the Ministry of Health, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Digital Development and the National Health Service are working on the implementation of eight digital tools to counter the spread of coronavirus.
“In particular, we are working out tools for coordinating hospitalizations, optimizing the reporting of medical institutions in order to spend time not on reporting, but on treatment,” the deputy minister said.
The official explained that work is now underway to digitize the accounting and registration of suspicious and confirmed cases of coronavirus, and the work of the Diy vdoma application is also improving.
“Now a new version is being tested and planned for release, adding many interesting changes, as well as on improving electronic referrals for PCR testing and tracing persons who were in contact with confirmed ones,” Kucher emphasized.
