Ukraine lifts duty off EU wine imports

Ukraine introduced zero import duty on wine from the European Union starting from January 1, 2021. This was stipulated by the economic part of the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukrinform reports with reference to AgroPolit.com.

The duty on the import of wine from the EU was EUR 0.3-0.4 per liter. From January 1, 2021, a zero duty on the import of wine from the EU began to operate. This is stipulated by Ukraine’s obligations to zero import duties on a number of goods within a seven-year period after the conclusion of the economic part of the Association Agreement with the European Union.
