On June 3, humanitarian aid was delivered to Ukraine from the Republic of Korea in the form of test kits for COVID-19 in order to overcome coronavirus infection (in total 20,000 test kits), the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
This friendly gesture on the part of the Government of the Republic of Korea became the practical embodiment of the agreements reached during a phone conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in in April this year, the diplomatic department noted.
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba expressed his sincere gratitude to the Korean side for the timely assistance and consistent support of the efforts of our state in the fight against the spread of coronavirus disease.
“The Ukrainian side is ready to further strengthening friendly relations with the Republic of Korea and will make every effort for mutually beneficial development of promising areas of bilateral cooperation,” Dmytro Kuleba said.
