As of July 9, Ukraine recorded a slight increase in new coronavirus cases with another 810 people infected. Most cases were recorded in Lviv, Zakarpattia and Rivne regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv, according to the National Security and Defense Council.
In total, 51,224 people have been infected since the start of the pandemic, of which 23,784 recovered (+665 people over the past day). The coronavirus death toll reached 1,327 deaths (+21 cases on previous day).
The overall incidence per region is the following: 6,681 in Lviv region; 5,872 in the city of Kyiv; 5,074 in Chernivtsi region; 4,380 in Rivne region; 3,622 in Zakarpattia region; 2,895 in Kyiv region; 2,875 in Volyn region; 2,857 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 2,521 in Kharkiv region; 2,153 in Ternopil region; 2,052 in Odesa region; 2,021 cases in Vinnytsia region; 1,500 in Zhytomyr region; 1,130 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 865 in Khmelnytsky region; 749 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 707 in Cherkasy region; 669 in Kirovohrad region; 605 in Zaporizhia region; 585 in Chernihiv region; 465 in Mykolayiv region; 328 in Sumy region; 327 in Poltava region; 201 in Kherson region; 90 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts).
