As of April 10, the situation in Donbas has escalated significantly. As a result of the enemy shelling, one soldier of the Joint Forces died and two were wounded, according to the press center of the JFO HQ.
On April 9, the militants launched 21 attacks at Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation area, nine attacks from 120mm and 82mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements.
The militants shelled JF fortified positions from an anti-tank missile system, weapons mounted on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
Under the enemy fire came Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil (five mortar shells), Vodiane (four mortar shells), Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Avdiivka, Pyshchevyk, Starohnativka and Bohdanivka. The JF HQ reported 38 enemy mortar shells fired from direction of Horikhove. Also, the enemy shelling (18 mortar shells) was recorded near Khutir Vilne, Novoluhanske, Novooleksandrivka, Popasna and near Krymske.
According to intelligence data, Ukrainian army eliminated one occupier, and another one was wounded.
