Ukraine reports 15,131 new cases of coronavirus over past day

As of December 3, Ukraine reported 15,131 new cases of coronavirus, said the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.

“In total 15,131 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine as of December 4, 2020. In particular, 649 children and 681 health workers fell ill. Also over the past day 1,776 people were hospitalized, 13,383 people have recovered; 74,880 tests were carried out per day (including by PCR method 48,028, by ELISA method – 26,852),” the Health Minister said.

Also, according to him, over the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in the city of Kyiv (1,375), Dnipropetrivsk (1,258), Odesa (1,211), Zaporizhzhya (1,106) and Kyiv (988) regions.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
