December 29, Ukraine reported 7,986 new cases of coronavirus, with the highest number of cases in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia region. This was announced by the Minister of Health of Ukraine on Facebook page.
To source, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv city (1,131), Zaporizhzhia (739), Odesa (729), Kyiv (623), Dnipropetrovsk (462) and Kharkiv (412) regions.
Yesterday, 52,746 tests were done for coronavirus (in particular, by PCR – 35,504, ELISA – 17,242). In addition, Health Minister reports that 2,925 people were hospitalized per day, and 16,355 recovered.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,045,348 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the country, including 698,190 recoveries.
