On April 20, the situation in Donbas escalated significantly. As a result of enemy shelling, one member of the Joint Forces (JFO) was killed, another four were wounded, according to the JFO HQ press center.
The militants violated ceasefire regime 13 times, using 120mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements, and which should be stored away from withdrawal areas.
The enemy also resorted to grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, sniper and small arms.
Under the enemy fire came Avdiivka, Taramchuk, Opytne and Pisky, also nearby Hnutove, Kamianka, Marjinka, Shumy, Novooleksandrivka and Krymske settlement.
According to intelligence data, on April 20, Ukrainian troops eliminated one militant and injured at least another three.
