On March 8, the militants violated the ceasefire regime six times in Donbas. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters on Facebook.
The militants resorted to 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as to grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group , the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions five times: near Opytne from 82mm mortars (15 shells), from the easel anti-tank grenade launchers (15 shots), and 2 shots from the anti-tank missile system; near Avdiivka from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; near Verhniotoretske from grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukrainian position near the village of Khutir Vilniy from grenade launchers of various systems.
From the anti-tank missile system the enemy fired at a truck belonging to the one of the units of the Joint Forces, which was moving to the positions of Ukrainian troops.
“As a result of enemy shelling from the anti-tank guided missile, one member of the Joint Forces was killed, three more were injured,” the report said.
