On October 15, the illegal armed groups 26 times violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed in action and another five as wounded. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).
The militants opened fire from 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, cannons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. In addition, snipers groups worked at the site.
Under the enemy fire came Ukrainian positions near Marjinka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Novohnativka, Oprosne, Pavlopil, Novotroitske, Pyshevyk, Lebedynske, Novoluhanske, Luhanske and Zolote.
“Over the past day, as a result of the shelling, two members of the Joint Forces were killed, and another five soldiers were wounded,” the statement said.
