On January 26, the illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire regime 12 times in Donbas, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters reported.
The enemy fired at Ukrainian Army positions from 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as from grenade launchers of various systems, of infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns and other small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group , the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions seven times: near Krasnohorivka from an easel anti-tank grenade launcher (8 shots); Lebedynske from 82mm mortars (3 shells grenade launchers of various systems, weapons mounted on IFV and small arms; near Starohnativka from heavy machine guns; near Hnutove from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group , Russian occupation forces attacked five times: near Horikhove from 82mm mortars (3 shells) and from 120mm mortars (4 shells), and also fired from grenade launchers of various systems; near Novotoshkivske from 120mm mortar (8 shells); near Krymske the enemy fired from 120mm mortar (3 shells).
As a result of enemy shelling, one member of the Joint Forces was killed and one was injured. Also, as a result of an explosion on an unidentified explosive device, one soldier was killed and another was injured.
