Ukraine has requested the United States to purchase military equipment through the sale program of the U.S. Department of Defense. It is reported by the press service of the US Embassy in Ukraine, citing the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires a.i. in Ukraine William B. Taylor.
The United States are already considering this request.
“The United States maintain strong commitments to support of Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and defense sector reforms,” said Taylor.
It is not yet known what kind of weapons have been requested for.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian Air Force received new models of engineering tools.
