Ukraine’s Cabinet approves new procedure for crossing boundary line in Donbas

The Ukrainian government has adopted a new procedure for crossing the demarcation line in Donbas, which introduces new approaches to the procedure for the movement of persons and goods.

This was reported in the The Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs.

Thus, the approved procedure introduces new approaches to the procedure of moving persons and goods across the line of demarcation in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

While crossing demarcation line it will be possible to transport any goods, with the exception of those restricted or prohibited for movement.

The corresponding list of goods will be approved soon.

Now it is possible to transport into the occupied territory only those goods that are on the permitted list.

The Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs has already discussed the proposal on the list of prohibited goods with the public, representatives of the fiscal and border services, the Security Service of Ukraine, the JFO staff, humanitarian organizations, as well as during communication with the population on the checkpoint.

As The Journalist reported, ICRC sent another batch of humanitarian aid to Donbas.
