Ukraine’s CEC accredited over 220 international observers on local elections

The Central Election Commission has accredited 17 additional international observers on local elections scheduled for October 25. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the commission on Tuesday, October 15, CEC press service reports.

“Namely: two observers from the Czech Republic, five from the International NGO Coordination Resource Center, three from the International Foundation for Better Governance, five from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, two from the Public Union “International Community for Human Rights”,” a message published on the CEC website reads.

Thus, according to the CEC, 222 official observers have already been accredited on local elections: 16 from four foreign states and 206 from eight international organizations.
