The CEC recommends voters to use a passport in the form of a booklet or ID-card at the polling station, since precinct commissions do not have technical devices to check passports in the Diya application, CEC secretary Olena Gataullina reports.
“I recommend all voters to go to the polling station with a passport in the form of a booklet or ID-card. After all, it will be possible to present a passport in the Diya application and to receive a ballot only if the precinct commission has necessary technical devices to check such a passport. At the moment there are no such devices in the precinct commissions,” the message reads.
The CEC secretary warned that in order to issue a ballot to a voter, a members of precinct election commissions need to establish visual identity, so the voter will have to take off his face mask.
