The Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova said that the work on the draft State Budget for 2020 is at the final stage.
According to the head of the financial department, the project will be submitted for consideration to the new composition of the government.
It is noted that the Ministry of Finance is fully prepared for peak payments of debts in September.
“We have half the year pass, and the conclusions on the implementation of the 2019 budget have an impact not only on 2019, but also on the planning of the State Budget 2020, which the Ministry of Finance is entering the final phase before its future submission to the new Cabinet. In short: everything is under control, will be ready by September,” the finance minister commented on the results of the state budget for seven months.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s public debt increased by USD 1.96 bln for the month.
