The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has responded to the statements made by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, noting that “Belarus is a neighboring state with which we have always strived to maintain friendly relations.”
“We understand the emotional overload of our colleagues from the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, but we advise them not to reject valuable friendly advice. The experience of the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity teaches precisely the fact that neglecting the opinion of society, but instead choosing the path of violence will lead you to nowhere. We sincerely wish Belarus to pass all tests with dignity, to strengthen its independence and democracy,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry added.
