Ukraine’s Parliament did not include bill on impeachment in its agenda

The Verkhovna Rada did not include in its agenda the bill on impeachment created by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Only 110 MPs voted in favor of the bill. Live broadcast was transmitted by the official Rada channel.

At least 226 votes were necessary to make a decision.

Zelensky has submitted a bill on impeachment №10340 to the Parliament. According to the document, the removal of the president from office will require the conclusions of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts and several secret ballots in the Parliament with more than 300 “yes” votes.
