Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said that the new Ukrainian government did not plan to curtail medical reform launched by former Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun. He said this on the air of “Right to Power” panel show.

According to the prime minister, today the state complete the reform at 80% and it’s illogical to stop it.

“We have come a long way. So a U-turn […] when you cross the river and manage to swim 80% towards the shore. And after that to make the decision to turn back, or swim to the end and overcome these 20% left. Of course, we need to complete this reform,” the head of government said.

Shmygal also spoke about a joint vision for completing this process with the new Minister of Health, Ilia Yemets.

As The Journalist reported, U.S. hopes new Ukrainian government to continue reforms.
