Ukraine’s Supreme Anti-Corruption Court to start working on Sep 5

As The Journalist reported, the judges of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court elected Olena Tanasevych as new head of the Court.

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court intends to start working on September 5. This decision was made by the participants in the meeting of the judges of Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.

Also, the judges decided to announce the beginning of the work of the Court by publishing the relevant information on the Judiciary web portal and in the Voice of Ukraine newspaper, Ukrinform reports.

In addition, the Head of the Court was instructed to contact the state authorities for assistance in resolving organizational issues and ensuring the Court to start its work.

So, acting Chief of Staff of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, Oleksiy Zhukov, reported that the State Judicial Administration allocated the first tranche in the amount of UAH 400,000 to repair the Pechersk District Court building located on Khreshchatyk st., where a meeting of judges of the Anti-Corruption Court was held.

Zhukov added that 20 judges can work in this building, but there are 27 judges in the first instance of the Court.
