Ukraine intends to launch a single centralized database of social categories of the population in 2020. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk on the air of Freedom of Speech on ICTV channel.
Honcharuk drew attention to the fact that the authorities used to operate with inaccurate and low-quality data.
“We sometimes make decisions, literally, blindly. This must be stopped. Next year we should have a single centralized database which will show us how many school children we have, how many students we have. Thus, we will see which social categories correlate with each other in order to plan social policy and make relevant calculations. This is what will give us the opportunity to distribute funds more rationally,” the message says.
