Ukraine to raise issue of Russia’s violation of Minsk agreements

The Permanent Representatives of Ukraine to the United Nations declared another violation of the Minsk agreements by the militants in occupied Donbas and called for a complete ceasefire in the region.

“Ukraine recorded 15 ceasefire violations in Donbas on May 10 alone, with four Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded. At the same time, the enemy used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements,” the statement reads.

The Ukrainian side calls on the Russian Federation to comply with request from UN Secretary General for a global ceasefire and to silence its weapons in the east of Ukraine.”
