Ukraine to start withdrawal of forces in Petrivske on Nov 8

The Ukrainian side is preparing for a withdrawal of forces in Petrivske, as long as there are no ceasefire violations over 7 days. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters.

“The Ukrainian side is preparing for the withdrawal of forces and assets in section #3 (Bohdanivka – Petrivske). The start of practical measures is tentatively scheduled for November 8, 2019, if there is no breach of silence regime in this area for 7 days,” the report said.

At the disengagement area #2 near ​​the village of Zolote-4 of Luhansk Oblast, technical inspection, clearance of roads and curbs, and cleaning of contaminated areas with explosive objects is ongoing. About 10.4 hectares of territory were already surveyed and nine explosive items seized.
