early spring grain – on an area of 2.1 million hectares, or 97%;
corn for grain – on an area of 4.4 million hectares, or 95%;
buckwheat – on an area of 28 thousand hectares, or 29%;
millet – on an area of 43 thousand hectares, or 75%.
In addition, the sowing of industrial crops continues. Thus, sugar beets were sown on an area of 220 thousand hectares, which is 90% of the forecast, sunflower seeds – on an area of 5.3 million hectares or 93%, soybeans – on an area of 1.3 million hectares or 71%.
