The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has refuted the information about the establishment of paid for electronic medical examination records on the website of the department.

It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

“On May 2, the Internet actively disseminated information on the introduction of fees for posting electronic records on the website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on passing a medical examination. This information is not true. The Ministry of Health did not take any appropriate decision for the introduction of such a fee,” the message says.

The ministry’s leadership appeals to the heads of all medical institutions that provide medical examinations, refrain from paying allegedly for placing electronic records about a person’s medical examination on the website of the Ministry of Health, and also for issuing a form of primary accounting records.

The ministry states that the appeal to the management of medical institutions about the fees for technical support of every such record occurred on initiative of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Medical Center for Road Safety and Information Technologies” and was not coordinated with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Over this fact, the Ministry of Health has initiated an inspection, the results of which promises to be reported separately.
