Ukrainian language audio guide starts working in Colosseum

Ukrainian language audio guide has been launched at the Colosseum in Rome, becoming the 9th project in the framework of the project of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenskaya to create Ukrainian audio guides in museums around the world. This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.

Creation of Ukrainian-language audio guides is part of the direction of cultural diplomacy. The project is being developed to spread the Ukrainian language in the world.

The Colosseum is the largest amphitheater in Ancient Rome, built in the century AD 1. In terms of the number of visitors, the Colosseum is the first one in the world among all cultural monuments (structures) and third among museums, second only to the Louvre and the National Museum of China.

According to the first lady, next year, Ukrainian language audio guides will be launched in the Tower of London, the Palace of Versailles, the National Museum of Natural History in Berlin, the Vatican Museum Complex, the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Complex in Jerusalem and the Igor Savitsky State Museum of Art in Uzbekistan.
