More than 480,000 people applied under the program “Help for private entrepreneurs and employees – UAH 8,000”. Until the new year, UAH 3.6 billion was paid. That is, about 455,000 people received assistance before the new year. The Journalist reported with reference to the press center of the Ministry of Energy.
“About 25,000 people applied in the last days of the old year, therefore, given that the new budget year has begun, they will receive UAH 8,000 each this year in a short period of time,” the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine noted during broadcast on the channel Pryamiy.
He added that under the next program, namely “Help to employers – up to UAH 8,000,” employers received UAH 650 million before the new year for about 170,000 of their employees. More than UAH 200 million were also received by entrepreneurs by the new year for compensation of single social contribution.
“In addition to these programs, we have restrictions on inspections, a moratorium on inspections. It is clear that the moratorium on inspections does not apply to areas that relate to food safety or hazardous production,” the minister commented.
Also, during the quarantine period, the tax burden on business has been eased, the “5-7-9” program has been improved, a new instrument for portfolio guarantees has been introduced, and a whole range of measures to combat unemployment are being implemented.
