The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday [April 25] may consider the issue of the withdrawal of Andriy Parubiy from the post of chairman of parliament.
This was reported by a UNIAN sources in the Verkhovna Rada.
About 150 signatures, needed to submit this issue to the Verkhovna Rada meeting, can be collected from deputies from the Vidrodzhennya MPs group, Opposition Bloc faction, some deputies from the People’s Will (parliamentary group), some MPs from BPP and the Popular Front parties.
Some 226 votes are necessary for positive decision. This issue does not require preliminary consideration by the committees.
According to the source, deputies want to withdraw Parubiy from the post in order to prevent the adoption of the law on the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language, and the signing of this law.
In addition, it is possible that the deputies will block the rostrum tomorrow.
As The Journalist reported, MP Valeriy Pysarenko initiated the collection of signatures for resignation of Parubiy.
